Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMU)International Relations Coordination Office was effectively represented at the Youth Policies Vision Document Çanakkale Workshop organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

At the workshop, Dr Emrah Yağmurlu, International Relations Coordinator of our university, took part as a moderator at the ‘International Youth Studies’ table. This table worked intensively with the aim of strengthening the international connections of young people, supporting intercultural dialogue and addressing multidimensional international partnership opportunities.

During the workshop, Prof. Dr. Emrah Yağmurlu came together with students from different backgrounds and contributed to important discussions on international youth policies. In the workshop, the impact of programmes such as Erasmus+, the role of international exchange programmes on young people and the role of youth in solving global problems were highlighted.

At the end of the workshop, a detailed report was prepared with the aim of reflecting the issues discussed at the working tables in the Youth Policy Vision Document. This report will be a critical guide in shaping future youth policies.

ÇOMÜ International Relations Coordination Office will continue to work for young people to take an active role in national and international platforms.
