Double Success for Our Erasmus Unit in the 2025 Application Period!

Double Achievement from Our Erasmus Unit in the 2025 Application Period!

Our university’s Erasmus Coordination Office has achieved two significant successes during the 2025 application period: both in the KA131 Erasmus+ Student and Staff Mobility project with European countries and in the KA171 International Credit Mobility program covering non-European countries.

A New Record in the KA131 Project: €394,240

Within the scope of student and staff mobility with European countries, our university secured the highest total budget ever received, earning a grant of €394,240.

Thanks to this budget:

  • Over 100 of our students will benefit from Erasmus student mobility,
  • Approximately 50 academic and administrative staff members will participate in teaching and training mobility activities.

Moreover, our university once again ranked first in Turkey this year in terms of staff teaching mobility budget, just as it did last year.
This consistent success is the result of the dedicated efforts of our experienced Erasmus team, which has been working diligently since 2016.

First Application, First Acceptance in the KA171 Project!

With only one team member involved in the application process for the newly restructured KA171 International Credit Mobility program in 2025, we secured funding on our very first application.

Within this scope:

  • Student and staff mobilities with Montenegro, Bangladesh, and Tanzania will be conducted with a grant support of €24,000.

Not all KA171 applications receive funding; only countries deemed eligible within the grant program are supported. In this regard, our university has achieved a remarkable success despite limited resources.

These two achievements represent strong steps taken in line with the internationalization vision and strategic planning of our Erasmus Coordination Office and provide an inspiring foundation for upcoming periods.
