Eighteenth Monthly Quality Assessment Meeting of International Relations Coordination Office was held

On 16 January 2025, the Eighteenth Monthly Quality Assessment Meeting, organised by the University’s International Relations Coordination Office, was held with the participation of the office staff of the International Relations Coordination Office. The important issues and solution proposals discussed at the meeting are summarised below:

 

Agenda Items and Decisions Taken:

 

Erasmus 2025 Calendar and Selection Procedures

- Information was given about the student and staff selection calendar of the Erasmus programme for 2025.

Online Meeting Plan with Erasmus Department Coordinators

- It was decided that the Erasmus unit will organise an online meeting with department coordinators.

Promotion of Erasmus Mobility

- Various announcement methods have been proposed to make Erasmus study mobility known to more staff.

International Student Office and Migration Management

- It was stated that the number of staff should be increased since most of the immigration administration procedures are carried out by the International Student Office.

Service Passport Paperwork Problems

- Problems related to the documents requested from students for service passports were raised.

- Solution proposals and action plans for these problems were discussed.

Staff Distribution and Elimination of Deficiencies

- It was stated that the staff shortage in accounting and payment processes should be eliminated.

- It was emphasised that this step aims to increase the effectiveness and speed of the University in international programmes.

The meeting ended with the planning of the steps to be taken for the effective implementation of international relations and international programmes.
