On 5 November 2024, Daniela Atanasova and Marrika Todinova Georgieva from the University of Food Technologies in Bulgaria visited our Erasmus office as part of an official visit within the framework of Erasmus Staff Mobility for Teaching Programme.

Prof. Dr. Esma Eser from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Food Engineering and Erasmus Inter-Institutional Agreements Officer Çağrı Ege hosted the Bulgarian officials and held meetings to improve inter-university cooperation. During the meeting, an agreement was reached with the University of Food Technologies on Erasmus agreements planned to be made in new academic units. In addition, information was exchanged about the outgoing and incoming student mobility of both universities.

This visit is considered as an important step towards strengthening the academic and cultural cooperation of both institutions.
