Nineteenth Monthly Quality Assessment Meeting of International Relations Coordination Office was held

On 26 February 2025, the 19th Monthly Quality Assessment Meeting, organised by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University International Relations Coordinatorship, was held with the participation of the coordinatorship office staff. The main agenda items and decisions taken at the meeting are summarised as follows:

 

Agenda Items and Decisions Taken:

 

1.Erasmus and KA171 Student Mobility Processes:

The selection process of students who will participate in Erasmus and KA171 programmes within the scope of the 2025-2026 Academic Year was discussed in detail. Information about application processes, participation conditions and evaluation criteria were shared.

2.Gastronomy and Tourism Faculty Promotion Programme:

The draft programme of the event planned by the International Student Office to be held by the students of the Faculty of Gastronomy and Tourism and international students was discussed. The event is expected to support the integration of international students and increase interaction with local students.

3. Lack of Staff in Accounting and Payment Processes:

The lack of personnel in accounting and payment processes was put on the agenda as it causes disruption in operational processes. It was agreed that this deficiency should be resolved as soon as possible.

4. Projects and Applications:

Routine information on ongoing projects was shared at the meeting. Details about the quota projects, whose application process continues until 5 March, were conveyed. The potential of the projects to offer academic and professional opportunities to students was emphasised. In addition, the coordinator explained in detail the developments related to the Horizon Project and the contributions provided to the participants.

5.Conclusion:

The meeting provided important steps to increase the effectiveness of our university in international projects and to improve operational processes. The decisions taken aim to provide concrete solutions for raising quality standards and strengthening activities in the field of international relations.
